Outline | This class is a fun creative way for children to gain understanding of English comprehension concepts and the love of reading. This encourages children to obtain knowledge in written concepts represented through arts. To see, think and wonder through the various skills of literacy and expressive arts. |

Outline | If you have a little chef in the making, encourage them!
Children will embark on a fun, hands-on gastronomic experience as they gain insight into cuisines from different countries and cultures. The fascinating journey through The Language of Food uncovers a global atlas of culinary influences. Colours, shapes, smells, and tastes are all vehicles of dialogue, and cooking is a powerful way to communicate. In addition, mathematical and scientific skills will be extended from reading the recipes, weighing, and measuring the ingredients to observing the changes during the cooking process. This class will be an excellent opportunity for children to have a chance to learn more about food and where it comes from. |
