EtonHouse International School, Suzhou was set up in 2003 in the Suzhou New District.

The school is housed in a purpose-built campus in the Suzhou Science and Technology Town, with a land area of approximately 3 hectares. It has a built-in area of 13,800 square metres, including excellent sports facilities such as an indoor heated swimming pool, spacious classrooms, excellent art, science and music facilities, large auditorium, gymnasium, basketball courts, tennis court and a synthetic grass sports field. It offers classes from pre-school to senior years (ages 2 to 18). EtonHouse Suzhou is a fully authorised International Baccalaureate World School for Primary Years (IB PYP) and Middle Years (IB MYP). For our Senior Years Programme, we provide the Advanced Placement International Diploma (AP) or the EtonHouse High School Diploma.

In 2013, EtonHouse International School Suzhou was ranked in China’s 500 Best Elementary Schools, based on an independent study undertaken by China Research Group, a non-profit think tank based in Washington D.C. The schools are assessed on categories such as teachers’ qualifications, facilities and environment, acceptance rate into the world’s best colleges, acceptance rate into Middle High school, support from alumni etc. EtonHouse International School, Suzhou was the only international school from the Jiangsu province in the list.

EtonHouse International Pre-School at Baitang One, Suzhou, opened its doors in September 2013. Located in the new CBD of Suzhou, the campus sits on 4,717 m² of land boasting a unique architectural concept designed around the famous children’s classic Jack and the Beanstalk.

Working on the strong belief that the environment is the child’s third teacher, the learning environment is carefully designed to stimulate the development of children from 18 months to 6 years of age. The pre-school is well equipped with innovative facilities such as a children’s kitchen, vegetable gardens, digging and construction areas and mobile climbing equipment to offer children a rich environment full of exciting and engaging learning possibilities. The specially designed classrooms are also equipped with state-of-the art resources to complement the learning and development of children in a meaningful way.

The pre-school will offer the renowned EtonHouse Inquire-Think-Learn curriculum which is inspired by international best practice. The inquiry-based programme, delivered by a team of highly qualified international teachers, instills in children a lifelong love for learning and encourages them to reach their full potential – academically, socially, emotionally and physically.
