Having shifted from 2 Orchard Boulevard to a brand new campus on 8 Thomson lane, EtonHouse Thomson spans 200,000 sq ft and sets new standards in early years environment design in Singapore.

Developed by specialists in early childhood and inspired by the Reggio Emilia pre-school settings, the innovative environment is a beautiful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. The campus has several new and innovative features, such as dedicated children’s gardens, swimming pool, alfresco dining areas, and Ateliers for Art, Light and Food. The extensive outdoor environment situated in the midst of lush greenery will utilized by educators to engage children in various experiences, with natural settings used as platforms for reading or dramatic play. Children’s thinking will be stimulated through the inquiry-based curriculum approach in this rich learning environment.

The school is an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School and offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children from 18 months to 12 years of age. In August 2016, the school will launch Year 2 and 3 classes, for students aged 7 and 8 respectively. The Primary Programme at Thomson is supported by our International School campus at Broadrick Road in the East Coast, which has run a distinguished Primary programme for 18 years. Like the Broadrick campus, EtonHouse Thomson will offer a truly integrated bilingual programme throughout its primary school classes, with an English and Mandarin teacher interacting with the students in both languages during the day. This consistent exposure to both languages at all times is an extension of what we offer in the early years programme, and enables students to think and understand concepts in two different languages and communicate effectively.

Current pre-school children in EtonHouse will enjoy the option of a seamless transfer to either Thomson campus for Primary school education, or our Broadrick campus for Primary and Secondary years.

The campus also offers a ‘Parent & Me’ playgroup for children 9 - 17 months, rich in sensorial explorations and collaborative learning experiences within our safe and warm environment.
